| Editorial Internship
Western Living magazine offers three-month, full-time internships for those looking to gain
magazine experience. Duties include fact-checking articles, story research, photo
research, attending editorial meetings, generating story ideas, email correspondence
and administrative assistance. Interns are also given the opportunity to contribute
to sidebars and short pieces in the magazine. Western Living offers an honorarium
of $250 per month.
Editorial Internship Application Deadlines
Internships starting January 1 and February 1: apply by November 15.
Internships starting April 1 and May 1: apply by February 15.
Internships starting July 1 and August 1: apply by May 15.
Internships starting October 1 and November 1: apply by August 15.

Online Internship
Online internships are three-month, full-time positions for those looking to gain
experience in digital publication and social media. Duties include updating the westernliving.ca website, collecting and synthesizing online data, improving westernliving.ca's SEO and design, creating content for our e-newsletter, maintaining Western Living's editors' picks blogs and other tasks related to maintaining Western Living's online presence. Western Living offers an honorarium
of $250 per month.

Marketing Internships
Marketing internships are offered for three- or four-months periods. Duties include
assisting with marketing initiatives, promotions, events, sponsorships and communications
for Western Living magazine and its sister publications (including Vancouver magazine).
